An Excel workbook can hold dozens or hundreds of embedded pictures, product photos next to SKUs, employee headshots next to names, diagrams pasted into a report, but Excel gives you no fast way to get those pictures back out as ordinary files. The only built-in option is right-clicking each picture individually, choosing Save As Picture, and typing a filename, over and over.

1. Install Turbo Excel Image Extractor and Inserter on your Windows PC.
2. Open the Extract Images tab.
3. Add a single workbook, several workbooks, or an entire folder scanned recursively.
4. Set filters for sheet, row, column, or minimum image size if needed.
5. Choose a naming pattern for the extracted files.
6. Select an output image format and enable deduplication if desired.
7. Click Start and watch the live progress bar and activity log.
8. Find your extracted images in the output folder, along with the CSV manifest.
9. Double-check the activity log for any files or images that need a second look.
