Million Row Split and Copy Tool

Splitting a large dataset into pieces and then copying those pieces somewhere else are usually treated as two separate tasks, requiring two different tools, one to split the file, another to handle the actual copy and paste into a destination.

Million by Million Rows Copier combines splitting and copying into a single step. Load your data once, by pasting with Ctrl+V or loading a file, and Copy Next Chunk both splits off the next piece, by default 1,000,000 rows, and places it directly on your clipboard, ready to paste.

There's no separate splitting phase that produces a folder of files you then have to open and copy from individually, the split and the copy happen together in the same action, with the header row included automatically on every piece.

Each split-and-copied chunk is also saved to disk automatically in your chosen format, so you end up with the benefits of a traditional file-based split, permanent, separate files, alongside the clipboard-ready convenience of a copy tool.

Chunk size, the effective split size, adjusts anywhere from 1 to 10,000,000 rows, letting you control exactly how the dataset gets divided as part of the same combined split-and-copy operation.

Everything runs locally on your PC, aside from a one-time license check. Loading, splitting, and copying all happen offline, with your data never uploaded anywhere. Data analysts and engineers moving large extracts between tools, database administrators handing off query results, finance and accounting teams transferring big ledgers, operations and reporting staff assembling data from many sources, and anyone who has ever tried to paste more rows into Excel than it was willing to accept, all use the same underlying workflow. Virtual rendering keeps the loaded-data view smooth even at the upper end of the app's capacity, and every worker thread runs its own SQLite connection in WAL mode, so nothing here depends on your PC having an unusual amount of memory to spare.

1. Install Million by Million Rows Copier on your Windows PC.
2. Paste your data with Ctrl+V or load a file.
3. Click Start Copying Out to lock the dataset in place.
4. Set your chunk size to control the effective split size.
5. Click Copy Next Chunk to split and copy the first piece together.
6. Paste that piece into your destination.
7. Repeat with Copy Next Chunk for the rest of the dataset.
8. Review the auto-saved split files in your output folder.
9. Use Re-copy Current Chunk if your clipboard gets overwritten mid-paste.
10. Click Open Output Folder to review everything you've saved so far.
