How to Remove Duplicate Sheets in Excel

Duplicate sheets - two or more tabs inside the same workbook containing identical or near-identical data - typically appear when a worksheet was copied as a backup before making changes and the backup copy was never deleted, or when several people combined their individual working files into one workbook and each brought along a copy of a shared reference sheet.
